Pocket Proxy Help
To use Proxy server effectively, you must configure your wireless router. You must enable port forwarding, to the port number that Pocket Proxy displays. If you do not know how to configure your wireless router, try http://www.portforward.com/. This website contains many different models of routers and how to configure them.
For clients, Firefox and Google Chrome work best as browsers.
Configuring FireFox:
To configure FireFox to use a proxy server, there are several articles online. One that appeared fairly good to me was http://technicalbliss.blogspot.com/2007/04/how-to-use-free-proxy-with-firefox.html
Configuring Google Chrome:

ANSWER:
1.) Turn on Pocket Proxy
2.) Wait for it to give you your internal ip (your IP inside your network), external ip (outside of your network router), and port number.
3.) Configure your router to forward Pocket Proxy's used port number to your iphone.
4.) If your client will be inside your network, give him/her your internal IP with port number. Else if your client is outside your network (not behind your router), give him/her your external IP and port number
ANSWER: The iphone/ipad/ipod does not have true multi-threading. Therefore, if you exit Pocket Proxy, it will not continue running in the background. In the newer iphones, only simulated multi-threading is achieved with only applications that Apple approves.
